Weeds of Wrath-Chapter 3

Lulu was hiding in a dark alley and saw Weedy dragging Monty away. Lulu transformed into a snake and slithered after Weedy without being noticed.

Monty opened his eyes. He saw that his torso, arms and legs was sealed in dry tree sap. He also saw Weedy standing in front of him.

Monty: What's going on here?
Weedy: The gas you inhaled caused you to loose consciousness. It also caused your arms and legs to be temporarily paralyzed.
Monty: Then why am I covered in sap?
Weedy: It's just insurance...To insure that you won't try to escape once the paralyzation wears off.
Monty: Where are we?
Weedy: Were in some abandoned lab.
Monty: What do you want with me?
Weedy: I hear you're good with building machinery.
Monty: You heard right.
Weedy: Good.

Weedy tapped on the dry sap causing it to crack. Weedy picked up some scrap metal and dropped it on Monty.

Weedy: Then I want you to make a highly destructive weapon out of these parts.
Monty: I refuse to be involved in your evil plan.
Weedy: You're gonna wish you hadn't said that.
Monty: Why?
Weedy: Well I'm not so good at taking no for an answer. It's my greatest flaw. I'm sorry it's come to this. Hold on a minute...No, I'm not sorry.

Weedy grabbed a remote control and pushed a button causing Monty to stand up and pickup the scrap metal unwillingly.

Weedy: Thanks to a mind control chip that I implanted on your head, I can control your actions, therefore you shall build me a powerful device whether you want to or not.

Lulu watched everything from the window.

Lulu: I cannot believe what that overgrown veggie has done to my poor darling! What should I do?

Tears ran down her eyes. Then Lulu had an idea. She picked up a rock and threw it at the window thus shattering it. Weedy went to investigate the shattered window. Lulu transformed into a noseeum and flew into the lab. She flew to Monty and changed back to her original form.

Lulu: Come on Monty, let's get out of here.

Monty did not respond. He just kept building devices.

Lulu: Monty, are you listening to me?

Monty still did not respond.

Lulu: Monty, it's me, Lulu.

Monty still did not respond. Lulu transformed into a kitten and scratched Monty's legs. Then she rubbed her body against Monty's legs and purred. Suddenly the green gas surrounded Lulu. Lulu accidentally inhaled the gas and lost consciousness.
