For the #Age-of-Avians Project.

Varanus Marinus is a specie of Monitor Lizard that has become adapted for a fully aquatic lifestyle, much like its prehistoric cousin, the Mosasaurus. Its diet consists of fish, cephalopods, sealgulls and Cetacean-like penguins. It uses a new method of killing prey by stabbing prey with its fangs and waiting for the prey to perish from both the venom and blood loss. Varanus Marinus and sharks typically compete for food, and sometimes even prey upon each other.

Cool creature. An exmaple of Deevolution. It must get very big to eat Cetacean-like penguins.

Well they hunt the dolphin sized ones, and hunt whales sized ones in groups. The typical Marine Monitor Lizards roughly the size of a mid sized shark.
