Qianghu

To all those who view my art, I present to you my first Kung Fu Panda OC…or OCs as the case may be, for there are two characters here.
Let's start with the fox.

This is Qiánghú (pronounced Ch-ah-ng-hoo) (in Chinese it would be written as 剛狐). The name translates as "Strong Fox," and if you look at her arm, you'll how the name suits her. There is also a 元 symbol on the other arm. She is an expert thief and a seasoned fighter, armed with her metal-tipped staff. Qiánghú is ranked as one of the craftiest thieves in all of China, and possibly all of Asia, for she can swindle any metal off a body, whether she's passing herself off as a poor beggar or simply swiping from behind your back, or even right under your nose – next to wealthy aristocrats, one of her most favored plundering targets would be Fung and his gang of crocodile bandits.
As stated before, she is a very fierce fighter who isn't afraid to combat a beast twice her size, but otherwise she is rather placid, level-headed and reserve, save for her magpie companion, Què.

Què (pronounced Cheh) (written in Chinese as 鵲), which translates as "magpie," is Qiánghú's "partner in crime". Què isn't so much a thief, however, as he is a receiver of his vixen comrade's profit. The mineral goods Qiánghú plunders aren't for herself, you see—they're collected for Què, who has Qiánghú convinced that he needs goods to support his poor family. But is there some sort of hidden truth concealed in the stolen goods he receives?
