Ottackers are social ambush hunters that rely on large numbers to take down large prey, so they live in leaderless packs consisting of at least four of six. Whenever an animal comes across an Ottacker pack's lake to drink, the pack will lunge from the water and grab the quarry by the limbs and drag it to its watery doom. In spite of being tenacious, formidable predators, Ottackers only attack animals that is strong enough to take down and if the quarry proves to be too powerful, the pack will waste no time retreating.

Despite their agressive predatory status, they rarely attack sentients. In fact, they can tend to act very friendly and playful towards sentients.

Also I would like to remind you that these creatures on Tenalin have nothing to do of age of aviens they are two different things

and are on two different parallel earths as it would seem. They never intact

Awesome future otter species

I really could see that appearing in my future world as well ^___^

The Ottacker jumping out of the water launching for the prey's throat kind of reminds me of a scene from The Angry Beavers in which Dagget (The dark brown pointy nosed beaver) launches towards a nature show host screaming "Throooaaaaaat"
