Harris Hawk Hound by platypus12 Harris Hawk Hound by platypus12
For Tenalin from :iconparalell-earths:

The Harris Hawk Hound is a species derived from the Harris Hawk that has been domesticated by the Lahimanu. In the wild, they live packs lead by an Alpha male and female. Packs are very organized and have a complex hierarchy consisting of Alphas, Betas, Deltas and Omegas. Not long after the Lahimanu discovered ther Harris Hawk Hounds did the bond between them start to form. Soon Harris Hawk Hounds had been taken from their packs and trained to the point where tame enough to submit to their Lahimanu owners and accept them as their new Alpha. Harris Hawk Hounds that were born in captivity have been easier to train.

The Lahimanu rely on these Hawks for their sharp eyesight, their strong unbreakable loyalty to their owners, and their keen intelligence to recognize particular words and to preform particular actions when these words are spoken.
