For the #Age-of-Avians
This bird is the descendent of the Secretarybird. It fills the niches of cheetahs. These futuristic Secretarybirds hide in tall grass stalking their prey and then chase after their prey at a speed similar to that of cheetahs. Females hunt alone while males hunt in packs of 3 or 4 that consist of their brothers.
The males have a black movable crest that can be raised or lowered, similarly to modern peacock tail feathers. These crests are used to signal pack members. Females however, lack the head crest as they hunt alone.
